Description
Northeast Harbor Fleet Dock on Gilpatrick's Cove. This picture was taken from the Rock End Hotel, which burned in 1942. The dock was actually owned by the Rock End Hotel, and is still called Rock End Dock by some older people in Northeast Harbor. On the far side of the dock is a removable part that was inserted to allow supply boats to get to the store at the head of the harbor.
