Description
The Green Flash is being taken from the hangar at Old Orchard Beach for a trial flight on May 22, 1929. The hangar was located at the present day (1973) swimming pool at Friendship Motel.
The plane was planning to compete in a transatlantic race with a French plane, but the Green Flash crashed before the race began.
