Description
Eleanor Cleveland Downing married James Clarence Hamlen Jr. of Portland on February 9, 1911 at the Chantry of Grace Church in New York City.
After the wedding, the couple lived in Little Rock, Arkansas, and later moved back to Portland. James Hamlen worked for the family lumber company and cooperage, which had operations in Portland and Little Rock.
