Description
William Williams (1731-1811) of Connecticut writes to William Pepperrell (1696-1759) of Kittery, who was commanding a regiment in the French and Indian (Seven Years') War, that a sergeant from Pepperrell's regiment could round up deserters, but needs orders on what to do with them.
