Description
This photograph shows the modernized exterior of the second home of the Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church. The Adams Street building, purchased in 1936, was originally a wood and clapboard structure. The last mass held here was on January 2, 2000--after which the congregation moved to a newly constructed church off of North Street in Saco. Gift of Jacques Downs who copied original from John Anagnostis.
