Description
Mothers and children cross the pedestrian bridge across the Androscoggin River from Brunswick to Topsham in 1936 after repairs were made to the bridge followiing the 1936 flood.
The bridge is known as the "Swing Bridge," the "Swinging Bridge" and "Le Petit Pont." It connects Mill Street in Brunswick and Bridge Street in Topsham.
