Description
Aubrey Lee Ferguson (July 22, 1887 - Oct. 27, 1918), son of J. N. and Jennie Ferguson, was a graduate of Ricker Classical Institute and an accomplished pianist. He toured the country and published some popular songs. A native of Mapleton, he continued to work and live in the area as a business man and manager of the "Family Theatre." After being rejected by the U. S. Army, in 1917 he joined Canada's 236th Overseas Battalion, "The New Brunswick Kilties." He died in England of influenza in 1818.
