Description
This photograph was taken of the business and industrial district of Springvale from the west bank of the Mousam River around 1895. The vantage point of this photograph is a spot near the present day corner of Frost and Mousam Streets. Note Pleasant Street to the right, which was at one time one of the most attractive streets in Springvale. At the time this image was taken, fields extended from the street down to the edge of the river.
