Description
The Hotel Brown was located at the corner of Main and Oak Street in Springvale. The hotel was erected sometime between 1864 and 1867, by Samuel D. Tebbets. Tebbets operated the hotel until 1887 when it was taken over by the Brown family. For the next six year the Brown family ran the hotel, until it was destroyed in the great fire of April 14, 1905. A bank was later built on this spot.
