Description
This image shows the Old Number One mill of the Sanford Mills in Sanford. The nearer section of the mill shown here is the small woolen mill that Thomas Goodall purchased from William Miller in 1867. The road to the right is Washington Street, looking towards Sanford Square. This mill was torn down in 1915 and a new Number One mill built on its site.
