Description
A group photograph of the Ancient and Honorables society at their annual picnic. A man tends the clambake pit in the foreground. The flag hung from the trees is a 45-star flag, which was the official American flag from 1896-1908.
The society held its annual picnics in what was called The Barley Field on Old Fortunes Rocks Road in Biddeford.
