This photograph was taken facing to the northeast looking toward Munjoy Hill along Congress Street (to the right) in Portland, from the dome of Portland's City Hall.
The Congregational Church is to the right of the photograph, with the First Baptist church behind that. The Cathedral of Immaculate Conception is in the background to the left.
