Description
Crowds at the Stonecliffe estate in Biddeford Pool wait for President Taft to appear. The President's car and driver can be seen in the left rear of the image.
President Taft kept the 'summer white house' at his estate in Biddeford during his tenure are President. This particular visit marks a cruise he took on the Mayflower, from Eastport to Beverly, Massachusetts with a stop in Biddeford, July 27-28, 1910.
