Description
The Puritan or Boucher Block at the corner of Main Street and Alfred Street in 1913. The view is along the south side of Main Street, looking toward Washington Street. At this time, the ground floor of the building at the corner of Main and Franklin (later, the J. C. Penney store) was occupied by the BALSAM Movie Theater, the only ground floor theater in Biddeford.
