Description
The Fernald, Keen & True Company of West Poland produced this canning label for Poland's sweet corn.
Bert Fernald (1858-1926) was a partner in this company. He was elected to the Maine Legislature in 1887, served as governor from 1909-1911 and in the U.S. Senate from 1916 until his death in 1926.
In 1910 he was elected president of the National Canners Association.
