Description
The cottage for men, cottage for women and farm cottage at the Maine State Sanatorium, a privately funded tuberculosis hospital in Hebron.
The facility treated patients with rest, high-protein diets, and lots of fresh air -- including sleeping outside.
The image is part of a promotional pamphlet the sanatorium produced to raise funds for its continued growth and operations.
