Description
Smith & Rumery Building Contractors estimated work on a new building at the Maine State Sanatorium at Hebron would cost $22,537.
Architects John Calvin Stevens and John Howard Stevens had estimated the entire project would cost $21,747, with about $16,000 expected from Smith & Rumery.
The tuberculosis sanatorium was privately operated, but received some state support.
