Algernon Garfield Chandler born in 1880, managed the College Bookstore in the Lemont Block, corner of Pleasant and Maine Streets and also was a member of the Brunswick Chamber of Commerce
He and his wife, Mae Cummings Despeaux, lived ion McKeen Street in Brunswick.
