Description
An apartment building, one of two to be constructed in Eastport at the Passamaquoddy Tidal Power Development.
The project to harness tidal power to create electricity began construction in 1935 and was canceled a year later when Congress failed to appropriate additional funding.
The temporary 40-unit apartment was one of two planned to house construction workers at the site.
