Description
The Sachem III leaving Wiscasset for a voyage to Labrador and Greenland.
The ship accompanied the schooner Bowdoin, designed by Donald B. MacMillan. The Sachem III was a sister ship, allowing parts to be exchanged if necessary during a voyage.
