Description
The front hallway of the Wadsworth-Longfellow House in Portland as it appeared in 1902.
Anne Longfellow Pierce (1810-1901) lived in the home until her death, when she willed the building to the Maine Historical Society in honor of her brother, the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow.
