Description
Hannah Pierce, who was living in Fryeburg and teaching school, wrote to her brother Josiah in Bridgton about teaching. Josiah was studying at Bridgton Academy.
She notes, "The task of instructing is important. I feel its weight ..."
She mentions several books she is reading and tells him she is thinking of reading Hume. She also asked his advice on history books she might read.
