Description
Writing to her brother Josiah (1792-1866), Hannah Pierce (1788-1873) of Baldwin commented on the death of their sister, Sarah Gooch.
Hannah wrote that death had taken another member of their "once numerous family." She added, "I, the eldest, am still spared."
