Description
Ruth Pierce Crocker, recently widowed, and her sister Hannah Pierce, who is single, write as two "old and lonely" women from Baldwin to their brother Josiah in Gorham.
Ruth writes about caring for her husband before his death and coping with his death. She is at her sister Hannah's home in Baldwin, which is the home where the siblings grew up.
