Description
Daniel Pierce (1803-1856) of Westbrook wrote to his sister Hannah (1788-1873) of Baldwin about land that Hannah and her sister Sarah owned together.
Sarah's husband, Dr. William Gooch, sought to buy out Hannah's half. Daniel writes that the offer is good "but you had better do as you think best."
