Description
From left, Richard Turcotte, Herrick, Brigham, and Graffam, all residents at the Pownal State School pose in front of totem poles at Bradbury Mountain State Park in Pownal.
The image is part of a photo album that Turcotte (1914-2001) compiled. Many of the photos are from his stay at the school for the developmentally disabled where he was sent in 1925 after both of his parents had died.
