Description
This 1905 photograph of the Townsend store also shows Fred H. Townsend, the store's owner, driving a car. Townsend's car was the second car in Limerick. The Townsend's store, located on Main Street, sold clothing and home goods.
The woman standing on the porch with the white blouse is Dora Townsend and the woman next to her, on the right, in a dark skirt/blouse is Mattie Mason, daughter of Jeremiah Mason.
