Description
These young ladies are rehearsing for "A Shakespeare Revel", which, according to a copy of the program, was "held on the estate of Mr. Harmon G. Allen, Tuesday, June 13, 1916". The scene the women have enacted in this photograph was titled "Moonlight Caprice."
Two of the young ladies in this image have been identified: Emily Gladys (Pratt) Roberts, fourth from the left, and Ileen Helen Brophy, eighth from the left, both members of the class of 1916. Makin Field was located behind the Nasson Institute building and eventually became the center of the Nasson College campus.
