Description
Ye Olde Mustard Plaster was the first issue, printed in August 1928, of what would become Dr. Rockwell's Mustard Plaster, a humor magazine that George Lovejoy Rockwell (1889-1978) of Boothbay Harbor published.
Rockwell called himself "Dr." and offered much humorous medical information and mock medical advertisements.
The cover states, "A home-made affair, gotten up by Doctor Rockwell who believes that fun is better than physic."
