Description
Albert Doughty and Chester Black stand on the tail end of a whale carcass they have been cutting in order to separate the eight-foot tail from the whale's body.
Ropes have been secured around one of the flukes. Chester Black, most likely the man on the right, planned to have the tail stuffed and placed in his store at Island Point.
