Description
Albert Coté of Lewiston, a longtime Maine legislator, speaks before the House of Representatives dressed in the uniform of Le Montagnard, a snowshoe club.
Coté served in the House for 12 years, from 1951-1977, and in the Maine Senate from 1977-1979.
He was president of the Maine Snowshoe Union and the American Snowshoe Union and also served as chairman of the International Snowshoe Congress.
