Description
A photo postcard dated 1959 shows the Deer Isle-Sedgwick Bridge in Hancock County.
The card is addressed to Mrs. Stanley P. Judkins in Larchmont, New York.
The message reads, "Dear Elizabeth, Will mail you the book soon. After you digest all this literature [?] you should be a real "Main-iac" like one of us. Mrs. Sorrell's husband died on the plane on the way home last summer - (heart attack) My wife is visiting in Buckfield for a week to visit Pricilla and admire the new grandson so I am a "widow" for a week I have to do the cooking after I get home from work at night. Sincerely Shirley."
