Description
Main Street in Fairfield, showing the Hotel Gerald at left.
Amos F. Gerald, builder of the first electric trolley in Maine and the state's first electric light plant, had the hotel built in 1900.
It was designed by William Robinson Miller.
The hotel closed in 1937.
