Description

A letter to Captain Ebeneezer Hill, part owner of the new brig Fountain, that the ship was ready for sea and that he should go to New York to secure freight, or go elsewhere to find freight for the ship.

Hill was being paid $30 per month for his services.

The unsigned agreement is in the records of Portland merchant John Fox.
