Description
A guest pass for the 1964 Republican National Convention held at Cow Palace in San Francisco in July 1964.
The pass includes perforated tickets for the first and second sessions of the day.
Maine Senator Margaret Chase Smith was nominated for the presidency at the convention. She was the first woman to have her name placed in nomination by a major political party.
Barry Goldwater won the nomination.
