Description
John Brewster Jr., an itinerant, deaf artist, painted this portrait of Eunice Pearson Deane of Portland in about 1800.
At the same time, he painted a portrait of her husband, the Rev. Samuel Deane, minister of First Parish Church from 1764 to 1814.
