Description
An ice cutting operation by the Portland Sebago Ice Company on Long Pond in South Portland in 1943. They are using a gas-powered saw (Model T engine) and hand tools.
The film is a home movie shot by Everett Johnson who lived near Long Pond.
Flave Chapman, owner of the Portland Sebago Ice Company, appears in the film.
