Description
Lubec Centennial celebration on Water Street, looking north toward ferry wharf. Judging by the crowd size, manner of dress, and uniformed corps on left this photo may have been taken on the actual Celebration day, July 4, a Tuesday. Lubec separated from the City of East Port and became the Town of Lubec on June 21, 1811. Original print held by Lubec Historical Society is mirror-reversed.
