Description
Lubec, view down School Street toward the water (Lubec Channel) with Campobello Island, N.B., in distance. School Street dead-ends at Water Street. Building beyond end of street was Mullholland’s grocery market. The two houses on the right remain, numbers 18 and 16 School Street going downhill. The next house is gone. Just beyond, Pleasant Street crosses School Street. The two-story building on the left side at the far end of School Street is still commonly known as the old “Rexall Store.” A somewhat wide angle lens on the camera exaggerates distance.
