Description
A black and white postcard showing a collage of three postcards of Washburn. The titles on the postcards are: Aroostook Valley R.R.; Main Street; and a different view of Main Street. The first one shows Car #51 in front of the I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows) building. The second shows a view looking down Main Street. The third view shows the trolley tracks and poles going down one side of Main Street. The Aroostook R.R. ran from 1909 to 1946 as an electric trolley line serving the towns of Washburn, New Sweden, Carson, and Caribou.
