Description
Members of the Civilian Conservation Corps Alfred Camp line up in front of the dining hall.
The camp, operated by the Maine Forest Service, opened in June 1933 and closed in November 1941.
CCC members at the camp were involved in insect and disease control, including gypsy moth control from September to May and white pine blister rust control from May through September.
