Description
This metal, star-shaped key tag was used in the Seaside House, in Ryder's Cove. It would have been attached to a key for room #65.
Inscription "Seaside 65 House"
The Seaside House was the first hotel built on Islesboro. It was located in Ryder's Cove, Islesboro's first summer resort. Built in 1868 and originally called the Islesborough, the hotel went through many expansions and name changes. The hotel was demolished c. 1950.
