Description
This postcard shows the Dark Harbor Pool, a natural inlet that was dammed for use the the Islesboro Inn's guests. A series of bath houses were built where guests could change into swim suits, but were later dismantled. The diving frame in the postcard has also disappeared, taken down after the Inn was demolished in 1955.
