Description
This postcard shows the dedication ceremony of the rebuilt Islesboro Inn on August 5, 1917, and the crowd drawn to hear ex-president Theodore Roosevelt speak. Roosevelt was visiting his daughter Ethel Derby who vacationed on Islesboro. The event was a momentous one for Islesboro.
