Description
This view was taken from inside the prison, after the fire of September 15, 1925, looking east toward Wadsworth Street. Fire-damaged buildings surround the quarry, which had filled with water from fire hoses.
The buildings were rebuilt, and the prison continued on this site until it was demolished in April 2002.
