Description
Martha Lander of Salem, Massachusetts, married Josiah Pierce (1827-1913) in 1858. Pierce spent most of his adult life in St. Petersburg, Russia, and London, England.
Martha Pierce lived overseas for part of their marriage and in Portland during the later years. She died in 1873.
