Description
George Washington Pierce, a student at Bowdoin College, wrote to his sister Harriot in Baldwin, about a fire at a home in Brunswick where some students boarded.
He also wrote about, and drew a small illustration of, his new coffee pot and wrote that he had "made four dishes of chocholate" in it.
