Description
Anne Longfellow Pierce of Portland wrote to Phebe Elisabeth Sanborn of Baldwin, thanking her for sending a barrel of apples.
Sanborn is the daughter of Charles and Nancy Pierce Freeman. The latter was the sister of George W. Pierce, to whom Anne L. Pierce was married until his death in 1835.
Pierce comments on how glad she is that Sanborn and her daughter, Nancy, are with Hannah Pierce in Baldwin.
