Description
This sepia-toned photograph, labeled the "December Court, Bath, 1910," shows eleven men standing at attention on the steps of the Sagadahoc County Courthouse. All gentleman have their hats off, holding them to their left sides, except for one older man who holds his high bowler across his chest to his right side. Snow on the steps and sides supports the December date. The bearing and stance of the men suggest these may very well be judges, although none has been identified specifically.
