Description
In 1836 the original house built on this site burned to the ground. The land was sold to Ezekiel Blood in 1844, a joiner, who built this house, which still stands. In 1866, the property was purchased by the Congregational Society and used for many years following as a parsonage. In the 1920s it was sold to a private individual and has been used as a private family dwelling to the present time.
A lithograph image of the house appears on the map of the Village of Thomaston, published by E. M. Woodford in 1855.
